Friendship and Loyalty

The theme of friendship and loyalty is seen in Robinson Crusoe's relationship with Friday. Before he met Friday ,Robinson was lonely. He found companionship with two dogs,a parrot and a cat.

After he saved Friday,he lived happily together for 3 years. Fiday learnt to speak English. One day they fought a group of savages. They saved Friday's own Father. This shows that Friday is loyal to his friend.

They learn from each other.

Robinson also makes friends with the English and Spanish mutineers. He solves their disputes and helps them to form friendships with each other.

This shows that Robinson has good social skills and he is loyal to his friends.
